Detail. Methodist Episcopal General Conference, held at Napanee, August, 1874. The correspondent for the Napanee Standard wrote: "Rev. R.C. Parsons, Presiding Elder of Niagara District, preached a very excellent sermon this evening to a large audience." Rev. Robert Campbell Parsons was born in Ontario on the 3rd of March, 1830. He was a member of the established, Queenston /Niagara Parsons family. In 1871, he was living in Welland. In 1891, he was stationed at Port Stanley. He retired to St. Thomas. Robert Campbell Parsons died in St. Thomas, Ontario on September 20th, 1912.
