Detail. Methodist Episcopal General Conference, held at Napanee, August, 1874 Rev. Samuel Morrison was born in about 1814. In 1851, he was serving west of Toronto in Peel county. In 1871, he was stationed in Markham, Ontario. We think that he is the Rev. Morrison who died on January 5th, 1885, in Equising township, Halton county. There is conflicting information about this man. The 1851 census tells us that he was born in Scotland; the 1871 census that he was born in Ontario. The death record says Ireland. The composite photograph is cracked across Rev. Morrison's picture, and the exposure is poor. this image is enhanced.
