Detail. Methodist Episcopal General Conference, held at Napanee, August, 1874. Rev. Francis (Frank) Chisholm was born on April 28, 1839, in Oshawa, Ontario. He had strong ties with eastern Ontario as both his parents were from Glengarry. By 1871, he was the Methodist Minister for Yonge and Escott, in Leeds county. He remained in Leeds county most of his life. At the time of the conference, he was about 35 years of age. Rev. Chisholm died at Philipsville, Leeds county on January 5th, 1922, and is buried at Crosby.
