Detail. Methodist Episcopal General Conference, held at Napanee, August, 1874.
Rev. George Abbs was born in about 1822 in Suffolk, England and came to Canada in 1838. In 1871, he was stationed in Ottawa, in the Byward district. In 1881, he was stationed at Port Perry. On the 1901 census, he was still living at Port Perry and was superannuated (retired). He died at Trenton on 23 November 1904, age 82. |
