Detail. Napanee, Grace Methodist, Mrs. Symington's Bible Class, 1909. Copy 2. Possibly the William Shaver (born 1875) living on Pearl Street on the 1911 census for Napanee. He was married, and his mother, Louisa, was living with the couple. On the 1901 census, Louisa Shaver, a widow with four children is listed in Richmond township. Grown son "Willie" Shaver was working as a blacksmith. This is likely the same family listed on the 1881 census in Winchester, Dundas County, at which time William's father, James Shaver, a cooper, was still living.
