Alford, E. V.:
According to "The War Work of Lennox and Addington", this man lived in Camden East and joined the 2nd Depot Battalion. However, we could find no record of him. Possibly, there is an error in the name.

Alkenbrack, Ibri Burton:
Born Camden East. Occupation before enlistment, teacher. Enlisted in 80th Battalion, but served in France with the 75th. Killed in action September, 1918. Buried in Dury Mill British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. #219104

Arnott, Harold Dwight:
Born Napanee. Occupation before enlistment, watchmaker and optician (Toronto). Lieutenant, Royal Flying Corps. Trained at Long Branch, Camp Borden and in Texas. (Some of his training under Capt. Vernon Castle.) Shot down over Verdun, France, 1918 by squadron commanded by Baron von Richthofen. Supposed to have flown his own machine, D.H. 96 8978.
