Preface:
This is the oldest surviving property tax roll for the township of Richmond, Lennox and Addington County. (The Town of Napanee was carved from Richmond township in 1859.)
The cover is missing. The first and last pages are missing. Therefore, surnames beginning with "A" and "B" are missing, as are the land titles which go with the last of the "W's". Surnames beginning with "Y" (if there were any) are also missing. The ink is faded, page edges are worn and the document is very difficult to read and probably will be difficult to microfilm.
